Spa Therapist
Carbis Bay Estate are currently seeking an experienced and passionate spa therapist to join the C Bay Spa team.
The role:
Following an exciting extension and new outdoor pool, the C Bay Spa will reopen in the Spring, 2021. We are currently recruiting an experienced and committed spa therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team working for an award winning, luxury brand.
The successful candidate will provide and maintain the highest standards of treatments, recommendations for guest homecare, daily operational procedures and overall excellent guest care, resulting in repeat guest visits and increased treatment sales for the Spa.
Responsibilities:
The Spa Therapist can be tasked with any or all of the following duties:
- To work as part of the therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standards of delivery of therapeutic treatments, thus enhancing the guest’s sense of wellbeing, balance and quality of life.
- To provide guests with relevant and appropriate treatment(s) following a thorough informed consultation on each guest visit.
- To utilise the Spa standards of operation and guest care at all times to ensure consistency on each guest visit.
- To be trained in all treatments offered on the treatment menu.
- To act as a mentor to new members of the Spa therapy team when required and give help and guidance and reporting progress to the Spa Manager.
- To clean all areas of the Spa as required, maintaining tidy rooms.
Training:
You will be trained with Aromatherapy Associates Product House and other Product Houses during the course of your employment. Should you leave within 6 months of receiving any such training, you will be liable to Carbis Bay Hotel & Spa for the full cost of your training fees.
The successful candidate will have:
- An NVQ Level 3 is essential
- Spa treatment and product knowledge – have an awareness of other spa brands and an interest in the latest innovations.
- Knowledge of and interest in a wide range of other complementary, spa and health-promoting treatments.
