G7 Guest Update

Carbis Bay Estate is honoured to be welcoming world leaders to Carbis Bay, for the 2021 G7 Summit. Here's some helpful information regarding the estate's closure and information websites.

We’re extremely proud to be hosting Prime Ministers and Presidents from the world’s leading democracies here in Carbis Bay, with the opportunity to showcase Cornwall as a leader in green technologies and sustainability on a global stage will bring huge, future benefits leaving a lasting legacy for all.

The G7 – which is made up of the UK, USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan - is the only forum where leaders of the world’s most influential and open societies and advanced economies are brought together for close-knit discussions. The European Commission and Council will be represented. They will be joined by the leaders of Australia, India, South Korea and South Africa attending as guests.

To safely manage the hosting of this monumental event, Carbis Bay Estate and Carbis Bay Beach will be closed to the public from 7 – 16 June. We do apologise for the inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, but we very much look forward to welcoming guests, visitors and locals back after a successful summit.

Our reservations department will remain open for booking enquiries via email only. Please email reservations@carbisbayhotel.co.uk

Devon and Cornwall Police have a dedicated G7 summit website that gives latest news, road closure maps and advice to residents and visitors. Please visit their G7 Devon & Cornwall website for this guidance or contact them G7Engagement@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk.
