Learn to Surf

Global Boarders offer a range of award-winning surf lessons to suit every ability and work across many of Cornwall's spectacular beaches including Praa Sands, St Ives Bay and Gwithian. Open all year round with professional surf coaches providing both group and private lessons.

The academy surf instructors combine serious tuition with great fun, working hard to make every lesson as rewarding as possible. All instructors are fully qualified surf coaches, lifeguards and first aiders, and two have even coached the British junior surfing team. The spectacular setting of Gwithian is at the northernmost point of St Ives Bay, and within easy reach of the hotel.
