Meet the team of highly experienced professional hairdressers all of whom have many years in the industry and bring an exemplary reputation with them.

Carly fully qualified as a hair stylist at NVQ Level 2 at 18 years of age. She trained at Glasgow Hair Academy Hope Street and ran a very busy column at a modern hair salon on the outskirts of the city for 3 years.

Carly moved to Cornwall in 2001 where she attained a NVQ Level 3 in hairdressing and advanced management.

She has continued to work and excel in the industry for the past 20 years in the Carbis Bay/St Ives area where she has built and maintained a very loyal clientele.

TONI&GUY Cutting and colouring course at the London Academy, GOLDWELL Colouring courses nationwide, WELLA Colouring courses nationwide, L'OREAL Colouring course nationwide, TIGI Colouring seminar, PATRICK CAMERON Hair-up/Wedding Hair, Advanced Cutting Courses nationwide locations.

Always keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and use of the highest quality cutting edge products, Carly continues to move with the times to make sure all her clients get the very best service and feel relaxed in the knowledge that their dream can be achieved.

Qualifying at the age of 18 Joanne carried out her training in Glasgow attending various advanced cutting, colouring and, styling including hair-up courses in London on a regular basis.

She also loves to attend salon international to keep up to date with new trends and techniques to top up on new and exciting knowledge of her industry.

Joanne carried out a 3-month road show exhibiting her hair creations, passion and knowledge in different areas of hairdressing.

She has worked locally in St Ives and Carbis Bay since 2007 holding many years of experience. Working as a senior stylist and manager of a local salon which has now obtained her a great clientele of loyal custom from over the years.

Joanne is a colour specialist with Goldwell and has a passion for colour as well as all other aspects of hair dressing. Joanne has attended many courses connected to the industry including: Level 2 & 3 in NVQ hairdressing, Loreal colour and retail diplomas, The academy Mayfair, Goldwell colour course and advance colour techniques, Nioxin specialist Kerestase diploma as a Kerestase ambassador, An award of outstanding achievements with Jr's of Glasgow, Trend colour zoom challenge by Goldwell certificate for excellent hair creations, Patrick Cameron hair-up and advance styling course.

Joanne loves all aspects of hair dressing and feels at her best when the client is happy, feeling confident and great about their hair. From cutting, colouring, styling, hair ups and wedding hair she still wants to expand her knowledge and make you feel like every day is a good hair day.

Sam qualified in 1988. She completed her apprenticeship within a chain of 5 salons in Southend-on-Sea in Essex and within the National Hairdressing Federation. She trained in all aspects of hairdressing including cutting & styling, colouring, perming, wedding & occasion hair, hair extensions and, enjoyed entering competitions including the L’Oréal colour trophy. In doing so she received her City & Guilds qualification.

In 2000, as well as moving to Cornwall, Sam extended her knowledge of Goldwell colouring by training in the use of their newly developed Elumen colours, completed a wedding hair course and trained in London to become a Great Lengths Extension Professional - Great Lengths being one of the leading hair extension specialists in the world.

Her first employment in Cornwall was in an Aveda Concept salon after which she moved to Hayle and worked in Carbis Bay for 10 years, regularly doing wedding hair at Carbis Bay Hotel.

Ali started her career in hairdressing working at Simon and Michaels in Ashford, Kent before making the move to Cornwall.

Having completed a five-year apprenticeship covering every aspect of salon practice she now brings that experience, personality and professionalism to the C Bay Salon.

Ali is multi-skilled in both ladies and gents hairdressing and is happy to share her time between the two. Passionate about client satisfaction Ali is a regular for Carbis Bay Hotel and Gannet Inn guests staying on the Estate.
