Histoire
Construit en 1894 par le célèbre architecte Cornique Sylvanus Trevail, le Carbis Bay Hotel connut très vite un grand succès grâce au boom des vacances balnéaires rendu possible par l'expansion du réseau ferroviaire. A la fin du 19ème siècle, la station de Carbis Bay était une affaire importante, qui s'enorgueillissait de son propre chef de gare et d'une équipe à temps plein.
