South West Tourism Awards 2017/18
We are honoured to have been awarded Gold in Venue & Business Tourism, Silver in Spa & Wellbeing Experience and Bronze in Large Hotel of the Year categories of the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards 2017-2018.

South West Wedding Award - Best Coastal Wedding Venue
We are delighted to have won the Best Coastal Wedding Venue 2018 in the South West Wedding Awards.
We are honoured to have been awarded three bronze awards in the Spa & Wellbeing Experience, Self-Catering Holiday Provider of the Year and Venue & Business Tourism categories of the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards 2016-2017.
Carbis Bay Hotel was awarded Silver in the Large Hotel of the Year and Bronze in the Venue and Business categories in the 2015-2016 awards.
Good Spa Guide
Our C Bay Spa has been awarded 5 ‘bubbles’ from the Good Spa Guide for the third consecutive year - 2015, 2016 and 2017, meaning our facilities are ranked amongst the top spas in the country. Additionally, we have been awarded the national award for “Best Spa for Romance” at the Good Spa Guide awards 2015.
Two AA Rosettes for Outstanding Cuisine
Awarded for the 17th year running for 2017, recognising outstanding cuisine. AA Rosette: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
We are delighted to have been awarded two AA Rosettes in 2016 and 2017.
Blue Flag
We have been awarded Blue Flag status in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010/11, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 for our privately owned 25-acre beach.
We have been awarded Keep Britain Tidy’s Seaside Award for 2016 and 2017.
Professional Beauty Awards 2016
We are delighted to have been presented with the Professional Beauty Regional Award for Spa of the Year: South West. This is the second time the spa has been recognised, winning Residential Spa of the Year: 10 Rooms or Fewer in the 2016 national awards. The next stage will be held in London in February 2017, where we will compete against all the regional winners for the national award.
These awards are the most prestigious and established awards scheme for the beauty, spa, nails and aesthetics markets, selecting the best in the industry as finalists.

Taste of the West is the largest regional food awards programme in the UK and covers products, as well as shops, restaurants, pubs, hotels and cafes.
West Country Wedding Award Winner
Carbis Bay Hotel won the Westcountry Wedding Hotel of the Year award in 2010 and 2011, was a runner-up for 2012 and a finalist in 2014 and 2015.

Cornwall Tourism Awards 2015

Carbis Bay Hotel & Estate was awarded a Cornwall Life Food & Drink award for Best Hotel Restaurant, celebrating both our fine dining Sands Restaurant and Beach Club restaurant.

AIM Accreditation
We are delighted to have joined the Meetings Industry Association (mia) - the leading association supporting and growing the meetings, conferences and events industry in the UK, and have been awarded their AIM Accreditation is the UK’s only recognised quality standard for the meetings industry.
AIM checks legal compliance; enforces a strict business code of conduct and assesses facilities. Overall it covers the essential compliance, competencies and capabilities venues and suppliers should adhere to in their everyday operations.
